Series Background:
I originally began writing "episodes" of this series back in 1997 when I was a member of an online message board. The group of friends that I talked with seemed to be very prone to fits of drama & melodrama. So, I started writing continuing stories of fiction, building on the over-the-top nonsense that seemed to always occur within this group of online friends. Shortly after I began writing, another member of my group of friends, John, began assisting me in writing these episodes for a short time. Starting with episode 135, I took over sole writing duties of the series. On & off over the span of five years, 189 episodes were written.
In the 2010, I began writing more episodes, expanding on the characters that existed at the end of episode 189.

This series & its characters are pure works of fiction. Although inspiration for certain characters & situations MAY be based on actual people, any similarities between the characters of this show & actual people or events in their lives is purely coincidental, not intentional.
Certain episodes of VP contain characters lifted from the daytime soap opera, Days Of Our Lives. These characters (to my memory, only "Kate Roberts," "Alice Horton," "Dr. Marlena Evans," "Vivian Alamain," & "Susan Banks") & any other possible elements from the show are properties of Days Of Our Lives, Sony Pictures, & NBC/Universal. None of the storyline ideas or fictional storylines taking place in either of these series were provided or are endorsed by anyone affiliated with Days Of Our Lives.
